The top two finishers in each regional event automatically qualify for the state meet set for May 23-24 at the University of Kentucky. Others may qualify based on their times or distances compared to others around the state. The Courier-Journal lists St. Xavier as a top team and William Mulloy a top boys’ individual in the Class 3-A Region 3 meet. Tiger Track & Field won the 2013 Class 3-A Region 3 championship a year ago.
