Vote for the Tiger Pride Award

Tiger Pride Award EXPY Nominees

New in 2015, the Tiger Pride Award will be given to the Tiger Sports team that exemplifies the most school pride in the eyes of Tiger Nation. Things to consider when voting for this category would be how well each team represents St. Xavier on a state and even national level, also their involvement in the St. Xavier community, attending other sports games and being all about the Tigers!

Saint Xavier High School 150th Anniversary Video

If you still think there is a better school out there better than St. Xavier after watching this… please show us.  This will make you realize how lucky we are to be a part of Tiger Nation!

Great work by those that helped put this video together.  They truly captured what it means to be a Tiger, past, present and future! We Are! St. X!

Tyler Boarman talks Trinity: Round 2

Senior Safety Tyler Boarman seems as calm as anybody about his team’s approach to the second meeting between St. Xavier and Trinity this season.  He will anchor the defense from the secondary spot which will be a key matchup the second time around against Trinity’s potent offensive attack.

The X Men: Moeller Edition

Another Friday, another edition of The X-Men.  Phillip Freeman and Peyton Byrne were back at it this morning to tell Tiger Nation all about tonight’s game.  Joining them this week was special guests, linebackers Trace Amshoff and Dylan McFarland, Connor Crush and Oscar Gutierrez.

They tackle important topics like how can Moeller hang with us? (spoiler: they can’t) and who’s more patriotic?

Let’s bring the noise tonight, Rage Cage. See you in a few hours.

The X Men: Bowling Green Edition

Peyton Byrne and Phillip Freeman preview the game, talk about the “Bad Boyz” and sit down to discuss tonight’s festivities with Tiger Football players Lowell Brown and Will Edwards.  The X Men predict a 35-17 victory for the Tigers… what says you, Tiger Nation? This could be a monumental night in the football programs new era, but let’s keep calm because it’s almost time to play a little football. Don’t geek.

Go Tigers!

Here’s to the Class of 2014!

Classes have ended and finals are here for the Class of 2014!  As they wind down their time of being a Tiger, let’s take a moment to thank them for all they have done in the world of Tiger Sports!  Some of the greatest moments over the past four years wouldn’t have happened if it were not for members of this year’s Senior Class!

Congratulations on all you have accomplished both on and off the field or court!  I think I speak for all of Tiger Nation in saying that it has been so much fun to celebrate the good times together and fall back on our brotherhood in the low times.  Thanks for all the memories!

Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!

Tiger Football Spring Practice #3

Spring Practice #3 brought more improvement for the Tiger Football team.  The projected one-two punch for the rushing game this year for the Tigers is Taijon Smith and Chase Rowan, but both are members of the Tiger Track team and are not participating in Spring Practice this year.

So yesterday, I spoke with Senior Wes Taylor and Jack Doherty.  Wes is always a great interview about what he expects out of the Tiger Running Backs even though he just moved to the position.  You might remember him from his end of the year lacrosse interview last year.  Take a look at some of Jack and Wes’ expectations and feelings heading into Spring Football 2014.
