About Us

Welcome to the official website of WSTX Sports, your home for everything Tiger Sports.  On this site, you will find articles, links, photos, videos and non-stop coverage of the greatest high school sports program.  The WSTX Sports Network covers all KHSAA sanctioned and club sports at St. Xavier High School through innovative techniques to give exposure to all Tiger Athletes unlike anywhere else!

Nearly 70% of the total St. X enrollment participate in interscholastic athletics as a player, manager, or trainer. Under the umbrella of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), Saint Xavier athletic teams compete for State Championships in Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Basketball, Bowling, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling, Baseball, Bass Fishing, Tennis, and Track. In addition, Saint Xavier offers club sport opportunities in Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Powerlifting, Rugby, and Volleyball.

WSTX Sports was founded in the Spring of 2012 by Clay Bollinger ’13. WSTX Sports began as a segment on the morning announcements hosted by Joe Dawson ’13 and produced, edited, and directed by Bollinger. The first episode of WSTX Sports aired on April 24, 2012. Twitter has been the key to success for WSTX Sports with coverage that includes live updates, news, and information about everything St. X.  Social media provides a resource for Tiger fans all over the country to follow along from anywhere at any time.  On March 7, 2013 we announced a partnership with Xavier News to produce post-game articles and news stories.
