Tiger Soccer opened up their season at home against the Central Hardin on Tuesday night. Last year the Tigers fell 3-0, but this year was much different with the Tigers coming out on top with a score of 2-1.

After a scoreless year last year, Junior midfielder Bennett Moorman came out ready to change that with a goal in the 7th minute. The defense was stout and kept the score at 1-0 at halftime.

At the beginning of the second half, both teams were trading shots, but neither could seem to get anything going. However, Brad Middleton would get things going in the 62nd minute, scoring off a nice pass by Moorman.

After a good first half, the Tiger Defense didn’t seem to be playing as well in the second half. The Bruins would go on to score off a corner in the 74th minute. They kept off the Central Hardin attack for the rest of the game and would keep the final score St.X 2, Central Hardin 1.

Next Game: @ Collegiate | Thursday | 5:00 P.M.
