GAME NOTES

One game away. The Tiger Basketball team is now just a win over Trinity away from making the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1995. The 2016 7th Region Tournament Championship will decide who gets that spot in Rupp. This game has been even more hyped than it normally would due to the fact that it is St. X and Trinity battling for that spot.

These two teams met on January 8 at Broadbent Arena where St. X defeated Trinity 55-48. Connor McKim scored 31 points and added 5 rebounds. Lucas Burkman led the way for Trinity with 17 points.

The Tigers ride an eight game winning streak coming into this game with wins over Holy Cross, Brown, Fairdale, Butler, Collegiate, Male, Waggener and Eastern. St. X has won by an average of 18 points per game during that stretch.
