GAME NOTES

The Tiger Basketball team will look to bounce back from a tough loss to Eastern on Tuesday night. The Tigers took the lead with less than 3 minutes to go on a Connor McKim three but ended up losing 69-64 for the Tigers’ 7th loss of the season.

Ballard is a familiar opponent for St. X, as the two teams just faced each other in the semifinals of the L.I.T on January 16. The Bruins defeated the Tigers 60-54 in a close game. James Ramsey led the way for the Bruins with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Ballard went on to win the L.I.T, as they defeated Trinity in the finals.

Ballard is a very solid opponent, and they are were ranked #14 in the latest Litkenhous Ratings that came out Monday. It will interesting to see how the Tigers fare against an opponent they have already played this season. Add that into this being a road game, and the Tigers have a chance to pick up a signature win tonight.
