Good afternoon, Tiger Nation!  That was a difficult loss to Central last week, but there is not time to feel down because the Tigers have another big road game Friday night. The Tigers will travel up to Fort Thomas and play the Bluebirds for the first time since 2006. So, let’s get to know these bluebirds.

Jared Lorenzen – The Round Mound of Touchdown. The Pillsbury Throwboy. The Hefty Lefty. Lorenzen played his college days at the University of Kentucky and played under Hal Mumme. Lorenzen led the team to a 7-5 record in 2002. Lorenzen went on to be signed with New York Football Giants and was on the roster when they won the 2007 Super Bowl.

Jeff Walz – Walz is the head coach of the women’s basketball team at the University of Louisville. He led his team to a National Championship appearance at the 2009 Final Four and once again in 2013. Walz has an impressive head coaching record of 205-74.
