Nominees Announced for The 2015 EXPYS as Fan Voting Begins

The 2015 EXPYS Fan Voting is here! For the second annual EXPY Awards, Tiger Sports fans will be able to vote for their favorite plays, coaches, games and more online at from June 24 up until the winners are announced on July 15.

The EXPYS will recognize top Tiger Athletes, Teams and Coaches and commemorate the past year in Tiger Sports by recognizing major Tiger Sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. The 2015 EXPYS will recognize best-in-sport winners, such as “Best Team” or “Best Athlete” that pit nominees from different sports against each other.

The Tiger Football Team and Tiger Swimming Coach Todd Larkin are back as returning winners from The 2014 EXPYS where they took home Best Game and Best Coach, respectively.

Brandon Lancaster is nominated for a record 4th time this year. He is up for the Best Championship Performance and Best Athlete EXPY’s. William Mulloy also has his third nomination this year after being a double nominee in 2014, he will battle Lancaster for the Best Championship Performance EXPY for his part in the 4×800 Relay State Championship.

Heyward Harrison, Max Cartor, Drew Singerman, Coach Larkin, Coach Lotze, Coach Lancaster, Coach Howe and Coach Saylor are all returning nominees in The 2015 EXPYS. Tiger Track and Field’s Matthew Thomas and Jake Glass are making their EXPYS debut with two nominations a piece along with Tiger Baseball’s J.D. Mundt who has three chances to go home a winner based on his performances on the mound and in the pool. Mundt’s fellow Tiger Swimming teammate, Keefer Barnum is  also a triple nominee.

The next three weeks will surely be exciting as Tiger Nation decides on who will be this year’s EXPYS winners and take home those coveted EXPY’s. Fans can vote by visiting anytime between June 24 and July 15, when the winners will be announced on Twitter.
