The Kentucky State Amateur First Round began today, where multiple current and Former Tigers participated at Big Springs Country Club.

The Musselman Family led the charge for the Tigers, as Cooper Musselman and his father, Chester, took the course one right after the other this morning. Cooper has his dad by one stroke through 18 holes.

Both Allen Hamilton and Former Tiger Paxton Duff shot under par on the back nine (they started on hole 10), but they found the front nine rather difficult.

Class of 2014 graduate, Brendon Doyle had an impressive round as he shot a 74 and finished tied for 17th. Brendon’s younger brother and possible member of the St. X Class of 2020, Drew Doyle, shot an 83.

Current Tigers
T-45 Mike Sass (+4)
T-58 Allen Hamilton (+5)
T-70 Billy Basham (+6)

T-12 Chester Musselman ’81 (+1)
