Former Tiger Mike Silliman will be posthumously inducted into the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame. The three-time All-State athlete led the Tigers to a KHSAA championship in 1962 and earned Mr. Kentucky Basketball honors.

Mike went on to have an outstanding career at West Point and was posthumously inducted into the Army Sports Hall of Fame. He captained the 1968 Olympic team, coached by Bobby Knight, to a gold medal and earned three All-American honors. His jersey was retired at West Point this past January.

The induction reception begins at 5:30 PM at the Historic State Theatre Complex in Elizabethtown on Thursday, July 11th and the program starts at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $30.  For details on how to get tickets, for the venue’s address or to see a list of the other inductees which includes several former UK stars, click here.
