J.D. Mundt earns First Team All-State Honors

JD Mundt 1st team ALL STATE

J.D. Mundt has been named to the All-State First Team by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association.

Mundt had a great season at the plate hitting .312 and putting up a .452 on-base percentage. He was a nightmare for pitchers, but Mundt really shined on the mound himself. J.D. finished the season with a 7-0 record in 9 games pitched. He had 35 strikeouts while only allowing 34 hits, posting an ERA of 0.98 and a team-best WHIP of 0.74.

Mundt will continue his baseball career at the University of Louisville, next year where he will join 2014 First Team All-State selection and Former Tiger Austin Clemons.
