Are you ready for Tiger Baseball vs. Trinity?

If that video doesn’t give you goosebumps, then you need to check your pulse! Just like everyone that just watched that, the guys on the Tiger Baseball team are jacked up for Thursday’s showdown with Trinity at Louisville Slugger Field.

Tomorrow night’s game vs. DeSales has been cancelled, so the next time you can go watch the Tigers play will be Thursday night at 6:00 PM at the home of the Louisville Bats and the house that a St. X grad built (Gary Ulmer, President of the Louisville Bats), Louisville Slugger Field.

Trinity enters the game winning eight of their last ten games and have an overall record of 19-8.  The Shamrocks lost to the top ranked team in the state, McCracken County, last Friday 3-0. Tiger Baseball is hitting its stride right now and should replace McCracken County as that top team here shortly in the rankings.  St. Xavier is riding an impressive eight game winning streak into Thursday night’s matchup.

The game really has no meaning, except there’s never a bad time to beat Trinity in anything.  Grant Wessling will be on the mound for the Tigers at Louisville Slugger Field where it should be an electric atmosphere in a Triple-A Ballpark. We hope to see you there!
