The Tiger Baseball team defeated the Central Hardin Bruins on Monday night by a score of 8 to 0. Junior Adam Elliott threw a Perfect Game and had 12 strikeouts. It was also Alumni Night at Mueller Field, and the stands were packed for a great game of Baseball.

To start of the scoring in the bottom of the 1st, Josh Finerty tripled to score Trent Revelette. The Tigers would go on to score another run in the 1st inning with Nick Nelson’s Sacrifice Fly scoring Finerty.

Elliott was also solid on the offensive side, as his sac fly brought home Daniel Fischer to start the second inning. The Tigers would score four more runs in the bottom of the second. Revelette tripled, and Finerty later brought him home with a sac fly.

J.D. Mundt brought home another run in the bottom of the 5th, as he scored from second. Dalton Dedas quickly brought home Nelson to make the score 8-0.

Elliott was consistent all night, and Central Hardin had no answer. 21 Bruins stepped up to the plate to face Elliott, and all 21 walked quickly back to the dugout in defeat.

The Tigers will play again Thursday night against hated rival Trinity at Louisville Slugger Field. 6 pm. Be there.

Go Tigers!
