Once again, Tiger Baseball has retained their No. 1 spot in this week’s Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Top 25.  It’s pretty nice to know for the past 10 months, we have been the premiere team in the state.  With Coach Porta’s Tigers holding a 13-4 record with only one of those losses coming to a team within the Commonwealth of Kentucky (No. 5 Lexington Catholic).

The Tigers take on No. 16 Ballard tonight at Mueller Field if Mother Nature cooperates, then later this week, St. Xavier will participate in the Doc Morris Invitational at Simon Kenton. Saturday afternoon’s matchup will put the Tigers against No. 17 Beechwood.
