Noah Houk commits to Kentucky
Tiger Football Quarterback Noah Houk has committed to play at the University of Kentucky next fall. He will walk on and follow in his dad’s footsteps, who is a member of the St. Xavier football coaching staff, and become a Wildcat. Jeff Houk played in the early ’80’s in the blue and white.
Noah threw for 1,324 yards and 11 TDs during his senior season at Tiger Tech. It was reported today that one of UK’s backup quarterbacks sustained an injury and will be out for quite some time, so this may open a spot for Houk to come in and be the third string quarterback this fall. Kentucky also has received a commitment from Male’s QB, Davis Mattingly, so those two will battle in practice this fall again, but this time as teammates.
Houk will be joining former teammate and current walk-on Charles Walker at the University of Kentucky. He announced his decision via Twitter.
Also, while we’re talking about Kentucky, Former Tiger Spencer Foy has announced he will transfer from Louisville and become a Wildcat next season. Patrick Sermersheim has also hung up the cleats and will no longer continue his football career.
