Highlights from Day 1 of Swimming State
Day one of the 2015 KHSAA State Swimming and Diving Championships was today at the University of Louisville. The Tiger Swimming and Diving program is going for their 27th straight state title this weekend and that all begins with today’s prelims.
Here are some highlights of the Tigers’ performance earlier today:
-The team of Mundt, Barnum, Harrison and McDermot posted the top time in the 200 medley relay with a mark of 1:35.20.
-Heyward Harrison won the 200 IM prelim in 1:51.06.
-Mundt, Schulten, McDermott and Forde took 1st in the 200 free relay prelims with a mark of 1:27.43.
-Keefer Barnum led the pack in the 100 breast prelims with a time of 56.34.
-Harrison, Hubbuch, Schulten and Forde closed out the prelims by winning the 400 free relay in 3:08.04.
