Tiger Track and Field impresses at Indiana Track Club Open

Former Tiger Sam Lewis who currently runs for Wake Forest ran into William Mulloy last weekend | @samlewisv

One week after traveling to the Wildcat Classic in Lexington, the Tiger Track and Field team drove north up to the Indiana Track Club Open at Indiana University.

Top 8 finishers were Max Masterson (8th) in the Long Jump, Jake Glass (3rd and 1st) in the Shot Put and Weight Thow, Matthew Thomas (2nd) in the 1 Mile, Andrew Garvey (8th) in the 1 mile and the 4×800 meter relay team of Ben Kleine-Kracht, Eli George, Tyler Just and Michael Porter (1st).

William Mulloy also ran this weekend but at the David Oliver Classic. He finished 11th in the stacked field with a 4:22.08 mile.

The Tiger Track and Field team will travel once again to Lexington next Saturday for the UK High School Invitational at the Nutter Field House next to Commonwealth Stadium.
