5 Things on every St. Xavier fans Christmas wish list

Happy Holidays

Christmas time is finally here and there are a few things that are sure to be on every member of Tiger Nation’s wish list.  Regardless of your holiday affiliation, we all tend to find ways to celebrate the occasion and one another by giving each other gifts. That may not be the reason for the season, but it has certainly become a big part of the tradition in the winter holiday experience.

If Tiger Nation were to make a “holiday wish list” of the things they wanted the most, what would be on that list? Feel free to add more to the list below, which hits on a few of the things I think all St. X fans want the most this time of year.

1. More victories over Trinity

We here at Tiger Tech enjoy beating those Shamrocks from over on Shelbyville Road.  The fall season is over and now that we move into the winter and spring teams, this is where we shine.  Victories over Trinity come quick and often over the next few months so here’s to hoping more and more wins come over that other school.

2. A Spring Sweep

We were oh, so close last year to pulling off the unthinkable, but all teams in the spring sport season are back and reloaded, some with even more talent.  Lacrosse will be the heavy favorite along with baseball being a top team once again, so it is reasonable to ask old Chris Kringle for a state championship in every sport post March.

3. Future, Current and Former Tiger Success

The Placement test has been taken and a new crop of young Tigers are now a member of the St. Xavier community.  We wish for good results on those guys’ tests and their future endeavors in the school.  The current teams at St. X have a lot to look forward too also and we hope that 2015 is as awesome as 2014 was so that is why we added this wish on our list we’re sending to the North Pole.  Former Tigers had an unbelievable year and we believe that in the next year, even more great things will happen.  Because believing is what this time of year is all about, right, kid from Polar Express?

4. Another swimming title

Let’s not get greedy and take this state championship run by the Tiger Swimming team for granted.  Everybody make sure No. 27 in a row is on their wish list! Coach Larkin and the Tigers will once again look to defend their state title at U of L in February.

5. St. X vs. Trinity Basketball Tickets

THE Game has moved to Broadbent Arena this year and the Tigers will be taking on the No. 1 team in the state… but rankings mean nothing in a rivalry matchup.  Make sure to order your tickets online now.  All seating is reserved and a limited number of courtside seats are available for $20 each.  All other tickets are $10.  Click X-T Hoops to order your tickets online through January 4th.

Happy Holidays, Tiger Nation!
