The Manual Dance Team

Tomorrow night, the Tigers host Manual for the final regular season game inside Br. Thomas More Stadium of 2014.  We predict there to be at least one more home game so we won’t call it the last one.  We want to hear about your excitement for the game through this post! Comment below your score prediction and how you think the Tigers will defeat Manual!

Here’s some background information put together by the Courier-Journal’s Jason Frakes on the Manual Crimsons to help educate your prediction:

Manual Crimsons (6-1)

Coach: Oliver Lucas (fifth season, 28-19).

Starters back: Offense 8, defense 7.

Class: 6-A, District 4.

Top players: WR Will Blackford (Sr.), WR Jake Rist (Sr.), OL Jacob Key (Sr.), DE Ty’Ron Horton (Sr.), DL Derek Dorsey (Jr.), LB Damien Smith (Sr.), LB Christopher Dyer (Sr.), DB Jordon Gonzalez (Sr.).

Outlook: Lucas says this will “definitely be my best team since I’ve been coaching in the state of Kentucky. We’re balanced on both sides of the ball.” The Crimsons are breaking in a new quarterback in junior Tim Comstock, but he’s surrounded by talented skill players such as Blackford and Rist. Lucas believes he has one of the state’s top front sevens on defense, led by Horton and Dorsey on the line and Smith and Dyer at linebacker. “Our defense should carry us,” Lucas said.
