GAME NOTES

For the second week in a row, the Tigers will face a very tough opponent.  We travel down Preston Highway to Male to take on the undefeated Bulldogs on their home field.  The Bulldogs are ranked No. 70 in the nation and No. 1 in Kentucky.

It will be a tall task to slow down the great athletes of Male, but the Tiger Defense has shown all season long that they are the real deal.  Keion Wakefield, the speedy slot receiver, will be the toughest matchup for the Tiger Secondary.  He had his breakout game against us last year at Br. Thomas More Stadium and he’s back for more… he’s only a Junior.  But guess who else is only a Junior? Logan Butler.  Butler has had a spectacular season thus far and he will have to have another one to insure a Tiger victory.

The quarterback matchup will be exciting to watch.  Davis Mattingly of Male is a great quarterback that will have his shot at playing at the next level and many scouts will be in the stands to watch how he performs.  That is good news for Noah Houk who will be looking to put back-to-back great games together after his air raid assault on Trinity.
