Day 1 did not go as planned, but the Tigers are still dominating

Play was halted at the 2014 Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf Championship today due to heavy rainfall and standing water on the course, but before it was stopped around 5:00, the Tigers put up some great numbers.

As a team, the Tigers will be in first place when play is resumed tomorrow morning at 7:15 AM (CT) at Bowling Green Country Club.  Tiger Golf was +7 through 12-15 when play was held up.  Drew Kiehl is +3 through 15, Billy Basham is +1 through 15, Michael Sass is +2 through 12, Matt Liston is +4 through 12, and Allen Hamilton is +1 through 12.

Practice rounds will begin bright and early tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM (CT) following by play beginning at 7:15 AM (CT).  The Championship Round will follow the competition of the First Round, once the cut is made and the pairings are set according to the KHSAA’s Twitter account.
