The day has arrived!  Hello grade schoolers and other high schoolers that are off today and already headed to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium to begin tailgating for the big game while the Tigers and Rocks still are in class.  This is a day that is more than football.  Reunions, parties and family gatherings are all scheduled around this evening’s contest.  It is a lot of fun for the fans to get to experience some of the best high school football in the country and celebrate it accordingly.

As for the game, you know what’s coming.  A hard fought effort from both teams is sure to follow, but who’s going to get the edge? We’re rolling out position by position breakdowns all day long so that you are as informed as you possibly can be, so make sure to read up Tiger Nation!  The difference in the game is going to come from the Tigers’ Special Teams unit.  Look for them to play a big part in the victory for the Tigers.

We hope to see everyone out at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium a little later on tonight! Send us your best tailgate pictures and we will feature it on the site! (Tweet @WSTXSports or @TigerSports_TV)  Enjoy tonight and be thankful that you are a part of the greatest high school sports rivalry in the world.
