Yesterday during the University of Kentucky’s 17-7 win over Vanderbilt, Former Tiger Charles Walker pulled in his first collegiate reception.  Walker has seen significant minutes so far this season with the majority of the time coming on special teams, but yesterday, he found himself in there on the first drive for the Wildcats.  A simple out route was all it took for Charles to get open and catch his first pass from Patrick Towles as a Wildcat.

Charles was heavily recruited by the Commodores until James Franklin left for Penn State, so I’m sure that was a play he’ll remember for a long time against a team he could have been on.  Walker will have a huge game next weekend against the South Carolina Gamecocks and we know that Charles likes to make big plays in big games. Congrats to Charles and good luck the rest of the way!

Once A Tiger, Always A Tiger.
