GAME NOTES

Without playoff implications, this is still a big game for the Tiger Football team tonight.  The Crusaders of Moeller roll into the town with an unblemished record thus far, but Noah Houk and the Tigers are looking to change that.

It will be a tall task for St. Xavier to upset their opponents from the north.  Moeller is ranked No. 40 in the nation and are coming off back-to-back Ohio State Championships.  This is a very well coached team that will pose major threats in all phases of the game.

Houk is 33/64 for 425 passing yards thus far this season and he will have to have a big night to pull off the win.  Taijon Smith is the leading rusher for the Tigers heading into week 5 with 277 rushing yards.  Look for this game to be won through the air with big performances from Jaylon Hibbs and Colin O’Daniel.  Is this Michael Ackerman’s breakout game? We’ll see tonight at Br. Thomas More Stadium! Hope to see you there in your Red, White and Blue!
