GAME NOTES

The Fairdale Bulldogs enter tonight’s game with an 0-2 record after suffering losses against Bullitt Central and Male in consecutive weeks to open up their 2014 season.  Quarterback Dylan Garcia will lead the Bulldogs into Br. Thomas More Stadium looking to upset the Class 6A No. 2 ranked Tigers.  He has thrown for 365 yards and three touchdowns in two games this season so far.

Max Cole leads the rushing attack for Fairdale along with David Harris.  Both will try to find a crease and break through the Tiger Defense tonight, but the Tigers are still among the state’s top defensive units and will have a great game plan put together by defensive coordinator Bart Bruner.

Tonight is Future Tiger Night for all the prospective students in the area looking to find out what the X Factor is all about.  There is no doubt in our minds here at WSTX Sports that once they see the atmosphere at tonight’s game, they will surely make their decisions on where they will be attending high school immediately.

Last year’s matchup between the two schools went a little something like 50-0, so look for the same outcome tonight.  Should be a fun night at Paul M. Young Field.
