Dierig named new Tiger Track and Field Coach
Saint Xavier High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Stephanie Dierig to the position of Head Coach for the Track and Field program. Ms. Dierig joined the Saint Xavier faculty as a member of the English Department in 2007 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a BA in English and an MA in Secondary English Education. In 2009 she joined the Track and Field staff where she has served as an assistant coach working primarily with the sprinters and jumpers. An accomplished high school student athlete, she was a member of four consecutive state championship teams at Bishop Brossart High School in Alexandria, Kentucky where she earned First Team All-State honors in 2000, 2001, and 2002.
Alan Donhoff, St. X Athletic Director, said of Coach Dierig, “Saint Xavier‘s championship tradition in track and field is in good hands with Stephanie. She has a genuine passion for the sport and a tremendous competitive spirit that will serve her well as she helps our student athletes achieve their team and individual goals. I look forward to working with Stephanie and her talented staff.”
