Tweet Beat | Last Day of Twitter for Tiger Football!

No Twitter

For the second year in a row, the Tiger Football team will remove themselves from Twitter for the entirety of the 2014 season.  This means, starting today we won’t see another Carson Kehres, Coach Wolford or Noah Houk tweet until December! That’s quite depressing, but they have a job to do and Coach Wolford puts this team rule in to eliminate a lot of distractions that Twitter brings.  We won’t be able to follow these guys on Twitter, but you can bet we here at WSTX Sports will keep you updated with everything you need to know all season long.

With a lot of the guys making their “last tweets” for a long time, here are some of the best of the best farewell tweets from your favorite Tiger Football players.  We’ll miss you guys! *wipes tear away from eye*

Desmond Ridder – Sophomore Quarterback

Ian Kania – Junior Defensive Back

Pete Ames – Senior Defensive Tackle

Carson Kehres – Senior Defensive Tackle

Mike McCormick – Freshman Football Assistant Coach

Lowell Brown – Senior Offensive Linemen

David Palmer – Junior Tight End

Andrew Lyons – Senior Defensive Back

Davis Kannapell – Senior Tight End

Ryan Fleming – Senior Defensive Linemen

Patrick Ritter – Junior Defensive Back

Connor Barnes – Senior Linebacker

Taijon Smith – Senior Running Back

Davey Sermersheim – Senior Defensive Back

Tyler Spalding – Senior Defensive Back

Well, that’s it from these guys! Their lips are sealed shut in the Twittersphere for the next four months! Don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted every step of the way on how the Tiger Football team is doing all season long!
