Austin Clemons named to First Team All-State
Tiger Baseball star Austin Clemons has been named to the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State First Team.
Clemons only competed in the first 10 games of the season before a torn ACL put him on the shelf for the rest of the year, but his contribution to the program the past three years as a member of the Varsity team are well documented. Every year as a student at St. Xavier, he was a part of the baseball program’s four straight trips to the state tournament. His importance to the growth and development of what it means to be a Tiger Baseball player will live on for years to come and set an example for Future Tigers of how to carry themselves on and off the field.
Clemons will play his college ball at University of Louisville next season for the Cardinals who are fresh off their second straight College World Series appearance.
