WSTX Sports’ Top 10 Tweets of the Day

Tiger 2

We haven’t had a top ten in quite some time now and there was lots happening around Tiger Nation today, so we figured why not have one dedicated just for today June 11?  Also, it was in the midst of the historic baseball state championship weekend, but we hit our 2,000th follower on Twitter on Saturday, so we would like to thank you for your continued support of WSTX Sports! As always, remember, Go Tigers!

It’s time for WSTX Sports’ Top Tweets of the  day! You can participate by using hashtags such as #WeAreStX, #WSTXSports, #TigerBaseball (or whatever sport), #WSTXSportsTop10 or just by simply tweeting @WSTXSports.

It’s Tiger Sports fanatic Lincoln Bisig’s birthday and his former teammate, Trey Dornfeld had a fantastic throwback to commemorate the day.  Happy Birthday Lincoln!

Where in the world is Coach J today? Well he’s in Gettysburg!  Which side are you on Coach??

Tiger Football will stand in the way of the Bowling Green Purples potential state record win streak.  Bowling Green’s streak sits at 44 games entering the 2014 season which is only 6 games shy of tying Trinity’s state record.  3 of those 44 consecutive wins have came over St. Xavier.

Many Future Tigers are on campus this week participating in football camp with the current players and coaches!  Can’t wait to see those little guys in green and gold here in a few years!

Tiger Football Kicker Ben Logsdon camped at Alabama over the weekend and posted this video clip of a field goal he made in front of the Crimson Tide staff.

Cedric Miller had a nice send off tweet to his former teammate Austin Askin who left today to report to Eastern Illinois where he will be playing football for the Panthers in college!  Good luck Austin!

This shows that Tiger Nation really is the best when you get shoutouts from one professional Former Tiger to another! Very cool!

Justin Thomas takes the No. 1 spot because this is his week!  He is representing St. Xavier on the national stage at his first major and this is also an epic selfie!
