Tiger Track & Field are Region Champions!

The Tiger Track and Field Team brought home their second consecutive Region 3 Championship last night.
Major contributors were the 4 X 800 team of Ben Metzger, Ben Farber, Ben Kleine-Kracht, and Jack Minogue, who won; the 4 X 400 team of Colin O’Daniel, Patrick Ritter, Eli George, and William Mulloy, who won; Jake Glass, who won the Shot Put and finished second in the Discus; Blake Isaacs, who finished 2nd in the long jump; Colin O’Daniel, who finished 3rd in the high jump; David Flynn, who finished 2nd in the Pole Vault; Stephen Gray, who finished 2nd in the Shot Put; Michael Ritter, who finished second in the 110 Meter Hurdles, and 2nd the 300 Meter Hurdles; William Mulloy, who won the 1600 and the 800; Chris Striegel, who won the 3200, and Spencer Hayden, who finished second in the 3200.
The Tigers, among several strong contenders, will compete for the State Championship next Saturday at the University of Kentucky’s new track facility.
