Four Schools, Two Rivalries: The Pink and White Game

The 7th annual Pink and White Game will be held on Friday, April 25 at 7:00 PM at Trinity High School.

The Pink and White Game is an annual flag football game between seniors from Sacred Heart Academy and Assumption High School to benefit the Norton Cancer Institute Breast Health Program through the Norton Healthcare Foundation.

Players from both SHA and AHS have been practicing multiple times a week and are aiming to win. Also competing that night are Trinity and St. X. Rather than donning their helmets and pads, the guys will compete for the title of “Best Dance Team” at halftime.

The halftime show performed by the seniors at Trinity and St. X is always comical and entertaining. The dancers put a lot of time and effort into their practices as well and are determined to “out dance” each other.  If  you have been following Mike Glaser’s tweets over the past few months, you will understand just how hard the Tiger Dancers are working!

Here’s last year’s St. X dance to get you in the mood for the game!

What will be the signature move this year?

The Pink and White Game is a fun community event held for a great cause. In addition to the hundreds of students that attend, many parents and children enjoy going to the game as well filling the stadium to capacity each year!

Tickets are available through any of the four participating high schools. Come out and support the teams and the Norton Cancer Institute Breast Health Program on April 25.
